Hanna is a lifelong artist whose creative journey began in childhood, fueled by a passion for makeup, dance, and self-expression. Growing up amidst challenges, she found solace in the arts, whether crafting flower necklaces or dancing on pointe. At 14, she discovered her love for photography, often skipping school and navigating a difficult crowd to take self-portraits in quiet moments of freedom. Despite these struggles, she graduated one year early at the age of 16, determined to forge her own path. After moving to Raleigh, North Carolina, to escape her past, she began modeling and gained recognition for her unique online series, *Hanwokeuplikethis*, where she explored self-portraiture in unexpected settings.

Inspired by the memory of her high school art teacher, Mrs. Louis, Hanna embraces her individuality and continues to pursue her dreams. While people frequently compare her looks to iconic figures like Marilyn Monroe, Dakota Fanning, Edie Sedgwick, and even Miley Cyrus, she longs to only be seen as herself.

A lover of architecture, she finds peace and joy in drawing floor plans whenever she finds a spare moment, even after deciding it may not be the career for her (yet). She still revels in interior design and cannot wait until she has land to build her own home with her family—a passion that may have been sparked by her love for playing *Sims City* as a child.

It was through a photography connection that she met her husband one June day, a serendipitous encounter sparked by a retweet and a "miscommunication" between two friends.

Now a mother, Hanna has rediscovered her passion for painting and mixed media, realizing that she is the architect of her own life, designing it bit by bit to fulfill her childlike self’s wildest dreams. Creating with her daughters has become a daily tradition.

While social media can sometimes be an intimidating world of its' own, she is incredibly grateful for platforms like Instagram and Twitter for connecting her with a vibrant community (and her husband). With a focus on analog photography, she aims to foster that artistic community, believing that the essence of her work flourishes both in her art and in the moments shared with her family.

Today, Hanna has also discovered another new creative outlet: directing. With her husband photographing, the two collaborate closely on projects that bring their shared vision to life. Hanna finds immense joy in creating stories with clients, leading the way as a director, while her husband captures the moments with his lens. Together, they dream of a future where they not only make art but also create films, blending their respective talents to tell stories in a way that speaks deeply to them both. Hanna firmly believes in their shared passions and their ability to create, all while trusting God through every step of their journey.
